Hanstand Pushups
30-50 Strict Reps
10 Rounds For Time:
15 Deadlifts (135/95)
15 Pushups

For the strength segment, take some time to figure out the appropriate scaling method that allows you to do full ROM Handstand Pushups and then perform 30-50 strict reps…number determined by your capacity and time available.

For the conditioning workout, quick math comes to 150 total reps of each month…that’s pretty high volume, which is why the Deadlift load is pretty light.  Scale your pushups up if you’d like to rings, parallettes, or hand release, although none of these are required for RX today.

    25 Negative HSPU's - by the last set my head was hitting the floor too fast to be safe. Attempted a few kipping HSPU's early on. My head did come off the floor and I succeeded in NOT slamming it against the wall behind me, so that's progress. ;-) METCON Rx 18:18 I used every variation of hand distances and rotations I could think of to avoid taxing one single muscle group. Seemed to help.
