    In response to the post below... you really think it was only 30 snatches??? # Greg Says: May 17th, 2009 at 9:55 pm Congrats to Sarah and Mitchell for their hard work this weekend. You represent all of us at CrossFit Durham very well. We’re proud to be associated with you. Sarah, who would have thought this possible after such a short time training and coming off injury. Ultimately, it came down to this — you were the fastest through 30 snatches…power snatches…

    There is a pretty cool video on the main site of the regional qualifier. It gives you a little idea of how difficult everything was (and shows Sarah struggling with some kb thrusters).

    The video is awesome! Got up to 75 on the skill work... I still hate OHS! Thanks to Lori for getting me to push myself a bit. Did the WOD as prescribed (all 150 double unders, GHD situps)... took me 20:10! Thanks to all of the 6:15ers who waited for me and cheered me on! MUCH appreciated!

    sarah really? more than 30 snatches??? i had no idea ;) it was a lonely 8:30 class (or bonus personal training)...i got to 95 for ohs... annie kinda sucks. i opted for ghds (going to the beach this weekend, every little bit helps) and finished in 20:15. but now my hams and abs are mad at me...

    yeah, Annie was not kind to me either! Got to 85lbs on OHS and was happy with that. Did straight-up jump-roping for first 3 rounds, double-under attempts for last 2, and abmat situps. Dont' recall my time, though! ;-| 6;15 class did great today... see you guys Thursday!

    Annie is wayyyy tougher than I expected! Time was 16:58, with abmat situps and mostly regular jump roping (got a few sorry double-unders in). Got up to 75# on OHS and then worked on form with the 45# bar. Got some good feedback and form tips from Mitchell. Good night!
