Are you ready to take your performance to another level?
The barbell is the most effective tool to increase strength, power, and athletic performance, but it’s not quite as simple as just picking one up. Unfortunately many athletes and trainers do not maximize the effectiveness of the barbell in training and many athletes never reach their full potential due to faulty mechanics or faulty application.
When you become a member of the Bull City Barbell Club, we will guide your training using the Westside Conjugate System, along with some individual adjustments, to take your barbell training and athletic performance to another level. We maximize this system to get the most out of each of our athlete’s performance in their chosen sport of focus.
Our athletes are training for general fitness, powerlifting, Olympic Weightlifting, and the Sport of CrossFit. Training sessions are run as you might expect at a team practice, and include heavy lifting, speed work, and goal specific conditioning segments.
There are 8 available training sessions each week for Club members, plus additional “Open Platform” times for extra work (see schedule below). The number of athletes is capped in each session to maximize personal attention and time under the bar. When spots are open, new athletes can join the Club with just an 8-week commitment beginning on any given Monday. New athletes, who are not already training at CrossFit Durham, are required to complete four 1-on-1 Barbell Club Foundations Sessions with a member of the Coaching Staff. Price: $249 for four 1-on-1 Barbell Foundations Sessions. Then, $175/month thereafter. (current CFD athletes will not have to pay their monthly membership fee while attending).
