CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.  Regardless of fitness level, our program is suitable for anyone serious about fitness and motivated by hard work and achievement.  The needs of our grandparents and our elite athletes differ only degree, not in kind.   

INTENSITY WARNING “It is imperative that someone new to CrossFit takes the first month to learn the movements, if they’re not already intimate with them, and establish consistency before increasing intensity. If you can get through the workouts for one month straight without falling apart, then we recommend that you up the intensity a little the following month. FREE COMMUNITY WORKOUT
Come see what CrossFit Durham is all about at our free Community Workout held every Saturday at 11am.  This class will introduce you to the basic philosophy behind the  CrossFit method and gives you the opportunity to experience a CrossFit workout scaled to your individual fitness level.  No reservation or registration is required to attend.  If you are unable to attend one of our free classes and would like to arrange another time to visit, please contact Dave at (571) 224-3706 or Email Us and we’ll schedule a convenient time.  We strongly recommend that you come out to at least one Community Workout before registering for our Foundations Class.    

FOUNDATIONS
If you are ready to get your CrossFit program started, the next step is to go through our Foundations Program.  The Foundations curriculum is designed to introduce you to the 9 Basic Movements in CrossFit, as well as some additional exercises used in the Daily WODs, and to gradually expose you to the intensity of the workouts.  We place a heavy emphasis on proper movement mechanics and gradually increasing your exercise intensity.

Foundations consists of 6 small group training sessions that meet every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7pm.  A new class begins every three weeks.  The cost is $249 — this includes all 6 classes and your first month of WODs.

If you are unable to attend the Tuesday/Thursday evening Foundations class for any reason, we also offer a one-on-one Foundations Personal Training option.  This option consists of 6 one-on-one sessions scheduled at your convenience over three weeks and is tailored to your individual training requirements.  The cost is $299.  Click here to register for One-on-One Foundations Sessions.  Contact Dave at (571) 224-3706 or Email if you have any questions.

MEMBERSHIP
All new members must first enroll in our Foundations Program (see above).  Upon completing your Foundations month, you will automatically be enrolled in membership for a minimum of three additional months.  Your first month is included free as part of your Foundations fee.  Membership forms will be completed during your first Foundations class and you may start attending Daily WOD classes after this first session.  However, you must complete Foundations within 30 days to continue attending Daily WODs. 

Membership entitles you to attend an unlimited number of WOD classes throughout the month and can be cancelled any time after you have completed your first 4-months, provided we have 30 days notice in advance of your membership billing date.  Click here for more information on membership pricing. 

There are no contract requirements beyond your initial 4 months.  We give every one of our athletes our 100% effort and commitment and we ask that they do the same for us.  We believe that once you have seriously dedicated four months to our program you will not want to leave.  Exceptions may be made to our 4-month requirement for students and military personnel who may be leaving town.
