For the strength segment, take 15 minutes and establish a 1RM Clean.  Receive the bar in a full front squat.

We’ll be performing a different CrossFit Benchmark “Girl” Workout each day this week.  Today is “Elizabeth”, a CrossFit classic! Note that this WOD should be done with FULL SQUAT CLEANS.  You can perform with Power Cleans, but you must designate you did along with your score.

There is no formal ENDURANCE WORKOUT tonight, but you can definitely come row or run on your own!

    Ugh! "Elizabeth" was MEAN to me! Cleans are definitely a goat of mine, so this one was not much fun. 13:36, done at 95#, and with a red band for ring dips. My apologies to the 6:15 crew for my mid-WOD tantrum. Ya'all know I'm not normally inclined to throwing my ball cap around. Chalk it up to an off day. I'll bring a better attitude tomorrow. Promise.

    Did a Wendler day of squats prior to class today doing sets of 3 at 80%. 85% and 90% of 90% of my 1RM. Struggled with the 1RM attempt of the clean today. Tried to beat my 155 1RM and failed repeatedly at 160. I just can't get under the bar due to my jump moving me forward. 14:34 on Elizabeth with 95# cleans (61% of my 1RM) and did round of 21 ring dips Rx before needing to more to the red band for the remaining rounds.

      Nick, are you doing Wendler now? Or was this just a random Wendler day? Cuz that wouldn't make much sense
