great classes this morning! 11:30 was big for 11:30. i remember when 11:30 used to be consistently big, like 12+ people. i think the only people remaining from that era are Dave P. and Katie P. ps - i lifted to classical music today and i had an awesome lifting day. no PRs, as everything was a percentage, but technique was spot on. if you'd like to lift w/me the invitation is open, but now you'll have to listen to classical music! ;)

Classical? I like it! What was your inspiration for that, Ashley?

Have you seen the movie "Elephant"? If you haven't, don't. It's highly depressing. Anyway, the main messed up kid in that movie plays "Piano Sonata No. 14 in C Sharp Minor" quite a bit. Jonathan and I googled it one night and while listening to it I decided that I would listen to it while lifting to see if it calmed me down. I get too anxious and think too much during my oly lifts, and it definitely seems to help. I have 100 classical songs on my iPhone, so I'm excited about it!

Never saw the movie, but I like that strategy!

Awesome, Ashley! If you like that, you should also check out Philip Glass' Metamorphosis One through Five. You may have heard Metamorphosis One on Battlestar Galactica. It was played Starbuck goes back to her old apartment on Caprica. Check it out here: Now go lift something heavy.
