Post Press Loads and Workout Time to Comments
For the strength segment, perform 4 sets of 5 rep Presses working up to the heaviest load you can for the day.  To get the most out of your sets, try doing your inhale/exhale when the bar is overhead (see video of Marc Rippetoe below).   

For the conditioning workout, make sure your knees and elbows actually TOUCH in order to count your reps.

    Oh man, I'm sure it is 60-70 burpees, that sucks! PUT YOUR WEIGHTS AWAY. Wendler Press - 7 reps at 110# WOD: 4:41 RX. Ran out of gas at the end, I thought I finally had you Piracci! We then had an 800m run Cash out.... ugggghhh. 3:15

    great classes this morning! 11:30 was big for 11:30. i remember when 11:30 used to be consistently big, like 12+ people. i think the only people remaining from that era are Dave P. and Katie P. ps - i lifted to classical music today and i had an awesome lifting day. no PRs, as everything was a percentage, but technique was spot on. if you'd like to lift w/me the invitation is open, but now you'll have to listen to classical music! ;)

    Have you seen the movie "Elephant"? If you haven't, don't. It's highly depressing. Anyway, the main messed up kid in that movie plays "Piano Sonata No. 14 in C Sharp Minor" quite a bit. Jonathan and I googled it one night and while listening to it I decided that I would listen to it while lifting to see if it calmed me down. I get too anxious and think too much during my oly lifts, and it definitely seems to help. I have 100 classical songs on my iPhone, so I'm excited about it!
