  1. Sarah D Says:

I have a couple of things to say here.

1 WTF… seriously, this WOD again? It was killer the first time! Ok, fine. I’ll try to do it faster.

2 With regards to the “ha ha, don’t worry, women don’t ever really bulk up from weight training” article… c’mon now! You know I am trying to put a little meat on these little bones. Don’t go discouraging me! I think I can, I think I can…

  2. Dave Rubin Says:

Sarah, reports were you made this wod look so easy the first time that we just all wanted to witness it for ourselves in person ;)

  3. mandy j. Says:

got 145×3 and then failed…hitting 155×2 twice for the push press. great way to start the morning. :)

brutal wod. i have a new-found respect for mitchell and sarah knocking the crap out of that one in the qualifier. i got 9:25 using 35# kbs because dunsey made me.

615 worked their booties off this morning. nice job guys.

  4. Allison B Says:

Sarah and Mitchell- you have my undying respect. HOLY CRAP that one sucked! I did the 25# kbs and finished in a ridiculously long 12:38. Thanks to all of you 615ers who kept me going this morning. I wouldn’t have finished it without you.

Hit 100×3 and 105×1 on the push press… a new PR for me :-) Thanks for the encouragement Lori! :-)

Jason and Rachel, welcome to the madness that is 615 CrossFit.

  5. Lori F Says:

Allison, i really thought you had the 105lbs – especially after you just tossed the first one up! I could only do 2@105 which would have been a PR for me… next time!

We all worked hard at the wod -it’s funny how innocuous 7 KB thrusters can be…. til you get into it!

    Nice work, 6:15!

  6. Shane F Says:

Push Press 200# x3 = PR. 7:58 on the WOD w/ 44# KBs. The WODs are always harder than they look posted. Good effort 6:15ers!

  7. Basil Says:

Bill way to kill that WOD, what did you get 7 something with 44# KBs. I was less fortunate…

    WOD w/ 44# KBs @ 9:21

Push Press @ 165# which was a PR

So when are we doing a screening of Every Second Counts at Crossfit Durham? Dave? Greg?

  8. Dave Rubin Says:

I will plan to order the DVD this week and we’ll set up a screening as soon as it comes in : )

  9. Dave Rubin Says:

Great work today everyone! Welcome to our newest member, Rebecca….a Bootcamp convert!

Also, at the CrossFit Total Event Saturday we will be recognizing not only the highest total for male and female athletes, but will also recognize the strongest pound for pound man and woman! Everyone who can make it on Saturday should be participating….worst thing that happens is you set a PR!!

  10. Bill Says:

Thanks Basil, it was very motivating to have you chasing.

    Those KB thrusters are bruising!
