Handstands and Handstand Wall Runs
Perform 50 strict wall walks
–Rest–
For Time:
100 Burpees
Jump to a height 6″ above your outstretched arm

Post Workout Time to Comments
For the skill segment, practice Handstands against the wall or free standing.  If you can do the up against the wall with ease try to complete 50 strict wall runs (see video below).

For the conditioning workout, set up under the pullup rig or under a set of rings.  Your Burpee jump should be to a height 6″ above your outstretched arm when standing flat footed.

    27 wall walks. The blood rushing to my head giving me the spins became the limiting factor after 20 reps. I really want to hear if someone gets all 50 reps! METCON: 9:55 Whew, that was tough, but fun!

    Did about 15 or so wall walks, but was also working on free hand stand holds (and balance close to the wall). Saved it all for the metcon... 12:32 RX+ Chris did mostly Burpee pull ups at 7:15, I decided I would do all 100... with a weight vest. WEIGHT VEST THURSDAY

    Probably not clear, all 100 as Burpee Pull Ups, with a weight vest. Thanks Colonel Burpee. Per our discussion this morning: According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the exercise was named in the 1930s for American physiologist Royal H. Burpee, who developed the Burpee test. He earned a PhD in Applied Physiology from Columbia University in 1940 and created the "Burpee" exercise as part of his PhD thesis as a quick and simple way to assess fitness.

    Wow 100 burpee pullups with the vest...dang! I wouldn't mind struggling thru that. I went at 1130 and worked on back squats, flat bench, and weighted chinups. Did 3x10 with 185 for squats, 3x10 with 165 for bench, and did 8-10, 6-8, and 5-7 reps on the chinups with a 25# KB.

    So we all passed the Burpee test, no vomit before or after 100. good news everyone, we're fit. Actual Burpee test is how many you can do in 30 seconds. Good result is >16 Burpees for men and >12 for women. in case you wondered, like I did.
