I love body weight activity and it probably is credited towards being a former yoga and pilates fanatic.
What is your least favorite movement? Least favorite workout?
Wall balls! Ugh!
Tell us about your sports & fitness background:
As a child through my teens I was a dancer and cheerleader. In my early 20’s I would credit workouts to dancing in the clubs 3 times a week! In my late 20’s to now, it’s been cardio, yoga, pilates and now here at CrossFit.
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Do you remember your first WOD? How did it go?
My hubby…the awesome B.Love, of course. I don’t remember my first workout…I think all these burpees jiggled up my brain.
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CrossFit? (before/after)
I’m DEF more toned. I’m not in it for weight loss…but definition. And I’m totally achieving that.
What impact has CrossFit had on your life?
This makes me more determined to be the best/healthiest almost 37 yr old mommy I can be.
What is your advice for people just getting started or thinking about starting CrossFit?
Just do it! Nobody judges you.
What are your hobbies, interests, and/or talents outside of CrossFit?
I’m a successful Hair and Makeup Artist with my own company Perfection by Patricia and help people get the best skin oft their life as a partner with the 2 Drs that created ProActiv, in their new company Rodan+Fields, treating all skin concerns. It’s important you keep your body in shape right? How about your skin to go with it? It’s the largest organ on your body! Between my two businesses and my 8 yr old daughter that keeps me busy!
