The barbell is the most effective tool to increase strength, power, and athletic performance, but it’s not quite as simple as just picking one up. Unfortunately many athletes and trainers do not maximize the effectiveness of the barbell in training and many athletes never reach their full potential due to faulty mechanics or faulty application.
In our Powerlifting Program, we will guide you to take your barbell training and athletic performance to another level. We maximize this system to get the most out of each of our athlete’s performance in their chosen sport.
Our athletes are training for general fitness, powerlifting, and the Sport of CrossFit. Training sessions are run as you might expect at a team practice, and include heavy lifting, speed work, and goal specific conditioning segments.
There are several coached sessions each week for participants, plus additional access to the gym with our 24/7 Access program for off times and extra work. The number of athletes is capped in each session to maximize personal attention and time under the bar. When spots are open, new athletes can jump in with just a 12-week commitment beginning on any given Monday.
Athletes who are not already training with us may be required to complete a series of 1-on-1 sessions with a member of the coaching team to learn the basic movements and terminology to get the most of out of using the program.
